The War on the Working Classes and Elderly

We have had a very cold and rainy, stormy spring. Until this week your daily temperatures were much higher than our AVERAGE temps have been 4.4 C. We did have about two or three days of 15 C.

The Politics are very depressing with mostly name calling and very little rational discussion. The governor of Michigan and the Legislature are in Republican Hands. The Republican Party National and State with the support of the Chamber of Commerce (Handelskammer) have declared was on the working classes and Senior Citizens. The first objectives is the reduce medical coverage, giving the Insurance Companies the Power to refuse coverage for previous conditions and to cancel coverage at the digression of the insurance companies.

They are planning to cut payments to providers. This will have the consequence of Dr. and Hospitals to refuse to accept Medicare, which already has happened with Medicaid the Insurance coverage for the poor. I will also result in Hospitals and Dr. to give less service to the Medicare Enrollees. With the agreement of Medicare Hospitals will be forced to discharge patients early over the objections of their doctors.
