The President continues his stubborn path of obstructionist tactics to thwart the will of the people. Our stay in Iraq unfortunately has many echoes of Viet Nam. The Body Counts, the attacks on Newspapers and the optimistic assessment of where we are in Iraq are danger signals. The reality is that our forces are in the midst of a civil war between to God believing groups each believing they have the keys to the kingdom.

I does not matter that the God's they worship do not exist and have no basis in reality, they kill each other never the less, Just as the Christians killed each other in the European Religious wars.

Unfortunately I see no resolution to such a conflict. Even the introduction of massive force will not dampen the enthusiasm of the slaughter. So it seems our only rational action is to leave and save our young men from being murdered in this fantatical franticide.

The war has nothing to do with terrorism will not endanger us. It may help us to make more friends among the moderate Arabs.
